Kepez Olive and Olive Oil Museum

Antalya Kepez Zeytinyağ Müzesi// Antalya, Textile Mill Campus, from 1950's -built to enforce modernization and industrialization efforts in Anatolia- now re-fuctionalized for social center which embodies museums. 4000m2 part of the former factory transformed into museum designed to unveil the history of olive and olive oil production on Mediterranean cost. Olive varieties in the region, development of olive oil production techniques and technologies since ancient civilizations and regional sociology shaped via oil trade are the main issues of the curatorial design.
