BATMAN EL-CEZERİ MÜZESİ// Al-Jazari, the greatest engineer of the 13th century, is an extraordinary genius in the history of universal science. He served as a palace engineer for 25 years (1181-1206) in the Artuqid Palace and was a prominent figure in the tradition of 'Hiyal' during the Hellenistic and Advanced Period of Pneumatic and Islamic Civilization. With his remarkable contributions, inventions, perspective, and engineering philosophy, Al-Jazari designed over fifty machines and devices. TEATI has developed a compact exhibition, seamlessly integrated with the Hasankeyf Museum, dedicated to Al-Jazari and his inventions. The exhibition aims to captivate visitors' attention and spark their curiosity about the scientific achievements of Al-Jazari. It offers a hands-on interactive experience centered around selected devices created by the renowned engineer.
