100th Anniversary of İzmir Economic Congress Exhibition
The Izmir Economic Congress (İzmir İktisat Kongresi) took place from 17 February to 4 March 1923, shortly after the conclusion of the Turkish War of Independence and during the interim period between the two conferences that led to the signing of the Lausanne Treaty later that year. The purpose of the congress was to highlight the significance of Turkish economic development, considering the country's devastating state after years of war. The early foundations of Turkish economic policy were established during this congress held in the city of Izmir. TEATI was responsible for designing a temporary exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Congress.
